Technical Program Manager (w/ Data Center experience)

We are seeking a highly capable Technical Program Manager to support a strategic data center initiative in Reno, Nevada—an environment where emerging technologies, rapid prototyping, and complex construction programs converge.

Requirements:

  • Data center and construction experience technology experience is a “must have”.
  • Tactical & hands on, feet on the ground who can help the team
  • Able to work in ambiguity on complex tasks / items; vague tasks will often be assigned where they’ll need to just “figure it out”
  • Daily coordination with independent work not leaning on direction / clarification

Responsibilities:

 

  • Horizon environment requirements are reflected. In a nutshell – construction, tech prototyping, fast paced
  • Narrative to execution, ambiguity, execution oriented (have shit done!)
  • This person will be working under the Horizon LT (Team Manager and Account Owner) and collaborating with 10s of other Google & Vendor personal

  • Horizon 1: Core business—steady, incremental improvements
  • Horizon 2: Emerging opportunities—new products/markets, 2–5 years out
  • Horizon 3: Disruptive innovation—long-term, breakthrough efforts [creately.com], [linkedin.com]
