The client is delivering reusable, extensible, and scalable
net new platforms, products, systems and services to solve critical problems
for internal teams. We are empowering Accounting/Tax/Finance teams with
self-service solutions, data, reports, and analytics to optimize operations and
make data-driven decisions.

We are seeking an experienced, creative, and highly
motivated Sr. Product Manager Technical to manage a newly introduced
internal product for managing tax obligations and payment. Each year tax teams
file tens of thousands of obligations and pay billions of dollars to tax
jurisdictions (countries, state/province, city, or municipalities). Missed or
late tax filing or payment incurs financial penalty and impacts company’s
reputation.

You will manage the product features from conception to
launch and own the success of the product. You will lead the product vision,
strategy, roadmap, user experience, grooming, planning, design, delivery and
launch. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders in engineering,
support, UX design, business, program management and executive teams, ensuring
collaboration, eliminating roadblocks, and effectively managing the product
life cycle. Finally, you will take an active role in raising the bar for
product management process and practices on the Product Management Technical
team.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record of
owning and delivering high-quality technical products from initial visioning to
launch under aggressive timelines. You must be highly analytical and technical,
and can communicate compellingly and work effectively in a fast growth matrix
organization. You must be customer focused and comfort making decisions despite
ambiguity. You must be able to effectively manage the customers’ relationship,
and adept at synthesizing and prioritizing feature requests into simple and
user friendly solutions. This product has existing customers in production, so
you must be able to balance the workload of supporting existing customers and
proactively pursuing new features for the long term product growth.
